To ESOP or Not To ESOP.

Well this has always been a pet peeve of mine. Through some of the negatives in my business life, I have formed and crystalized in my mind an unshakeable conclusion. When you choose to work for someone else it should be an ESOP (employee sponsored ownership program) or a properly run unionized shop. Why you ask? Your future will depend on how well you please your manager, supervisor or whomever. You are basically accountable just at that level. On the other hand, when you are one of the owners or have a say so, then you have more control over decisions that affect you directly.
