Redefine Everything Now!

The answers you gave to the one-word questions should have provided added perspective to your goal. You may even have changed your mind somewhat about what your real goal should be. Was it too general or too narrow? Was it unrealistically ambitious or not challenging enough? Take a moment to study again the questions and answers you wrote. Now redefine your goal by being more specific. Write down your refined goal, incorporating your thoughts on who, what, where, when, why, and how.

Example: If you were to have first written down the goal “to learn to play golf”, you may now be able to refine your initial goal and put down “to learn to play golf well enough to break a hundred by the end of the summer by taking lessons and playing with neighbors at the local course”.
